Dalár, as far as I know, is the world where Katy was born and spent her childhood. You can find some information about it in "The Island School Diploma". In this world take place most, if not all, legends about which Katy Trend sometimes tells us, and upon which she wrote some of her poems and songs.
But it well may be that I am wrong somewhere. As I have told already, I met Katy only in 1992, and had not a chance to hear very much from her. It is always more certain to try to ask her herself about all this.
